Ricardi Matthee is a dedicated and talented para-athlete with a dream—to represent South Africa at the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games. His journey has been nothing short of inspiring, proving that hard work, determination, and passion can break any barrier.
Ricardi’s Achievements:
🏅 5-time Curro Mossel Bay Sportsman of the Year
🥇 Represented South Africa at the 2022 African Region 5 Games and won gold in the 100m T12 class
🥋 National Blind Judo Champion
🏋️ South African Powerlifting Championship Medalist
🏃 Multiple National Para Athletics Champion
Beyond sports, Ricardi is also committed to his education. He is currently studying BA Multimedia Design at Greenside Design Center, where he hopes to specialize in accessibility design.
