The Nedbank Desert Dash is the world's longest single-stage race, and also one of the most grueling races in the world, 401 km of nonstop cycling across the Namib Desert. For most, it’s the ultimate physical and mental challenge. But for many young people in Namibia, life itself feels like a desert — full of isolation, emotional strain, and a lack of direction.

That’s where Wilderness Therapy Namibia comes in.

WTN provides life-changing therapeutic experiences in nature for vulnerable youth. Through multi-day journeys into Namibia’s wild landscapes, young people gain confidence, emotional tools, and a sense of belonging they’ve never felt before. They learn to face their inner storms — and come out stronger.

This year, together with NG Kerk Windhoek-Oos, our teams will be riding the Desert Dash, not just to test our limits, but to raise funds so that more youth can access these vital wilderness therapy programs.
