My ma, Rina van den Berg, se linker oog het 'n retinale loslating gehad 3 jaar terug. Hulle het hom geheg sodat sy nie blind moet word nie, maar dit was onsuksesvol gewees; haar oog het skade gekry, en sy is nou blind in haar oog en moet uit gehaal word, want ons kan nie die olie laat uit haal nie.
Haar ander oog het 'n katarak wat uit gehaal moet word, anders gaan sy ook blind wees in hom. Ons wil vra of daar enigiemand is wat donasies wil skenk om haar te help om haar enigste oog te kan red. Donasies sal gaan na spesialiste en dokters, asook die hospitaal, om die dooie oog uit te haal en haar ander oog se katarak uit te haal sodat sy weer kan sien.
