Road to Grad

University life has been an incredible journey, replete with its share of ups and downs. Despite the challenges, the experience has been immensely rewarding. This year, I had the privilege of serving as the SHAWCO Speech-Language Pathology Head. This leadership position has facilitated significant personal and professional growth, and I am eager to apply these developed skills during my community service post in KwaZulu-Natal next year.

Being a NSFAS beneficiary for the past four years has been a tremendous financial support. Unfortunately, while the university has previously managed to cover NSFAS's shortfall over the last three years, this year, they are unable to do so. Consequently, I am responsible for covering this shortfall.

I recently attended an oath-taking ceremony where I proudly wore a gown, symbolizing my commitment to my future profession. I now aspire to walk across the graduation stage in a gown with a hood, marking the culmination of my academic journey and the beginning of my professional career.
