We started this campaign in 2020, to raise money for signage and vets bills.
Since then, the proceeds of Leanne Dryburgh's annual calendar has taken care of those expenses, but there is now a need to move the Fisherhaven Herd back to Rooisand, and we are re-opening this campaign to help with these costs.

The Rooisand Wild Horses roam the surrounds of the Bot River Estuary and have a wonderful and interesting history with records that date back to the mid 20th century.
There are currently 3 different herds that have adapted perfectly to life in the Vlei and are in good condition with healthy herd dynamics. One of these herds came across from the Vlei and has settled in Fisherhaven,
There is a worrying amount of development happening in Fisherhaven that is threatening their well being.
