It is with great excitement that we share the news that the Rossie Sisters , Hanaah (14) and Salma (13) have been selected by Camps Bay Football Club to represent the U16 Girls Team at the Gothia Cup in Sweden, July 2026.
The Gothia Cup is the world’s largest and most prestigious youth football tournament, drawing 1,900 teams from over 80 countries every year. For young players, it is more than just football—it is a chance to test themselves against the best, to experience new cultures, and to be inspired by a truly global community.
Camps Bay Football Club, is committed to nurturing young talent and growing girls’ football in Cape Town. The U16 girls team currently stands second in the Cape Town Tygerberg League, a reflection of their hard work and determination. Competing in Sweden will give them the opportunity to shine internationally, while proudly representing their club, community, and country.
