RSA JNR/U23 Canoe Slalom Worlds Team to Poland

Four talented athletes need your help.

January this year, they took part in the African Canoe Slalom and Kayak Cross Championships. As a result of their excellent performances, Hannah Trower, James Gotte, Jayden Davis and David Dent were chosen to represent South Africa at the 2026 International Canoe Federation's Junior/U23 Slalom World Championship in Krakow, Poland from 30 June to 5 July 2026.

An incredible opportunity awaits these four matriculants and they are hard at work both in the classroom and especially on the rivers practicing and perfecting their slalom and kayak cross techniques! They have the will, the talent, the strength, the commitment, the ambition, the dedication and the passion to go to Poland and make South Africa proud, they just need some financial support. 

Costs are the only barrier for these talented athletes. This sport is small in a country with very limited funding, and as there is no federation or national funding, everything relies on the athletes.
