Rugby star in the making

Hello everyone,

Throughout Vergill's life, he has had a love and exceptional talent for rugby. Since he was a small boy, his dream has always been to play for the Springboks. He is now 16 years old and playing for his school's first team (Rusthof high) as an outside-centre, and the prospect of him playing for a national team is becoming a very real possibility. With his fitness and skill level being what they are, it comes as no surprise that Vergill has captured the attention of scouts for various clubs in his area.

But no great opportunity comes without its challenges. Being raised by a sigle mother, it's difficult for him to get the funding he needs to continue striving for his goal to play for a national team. Without the necessary funds for rugby boots, a scrum cap, training, nutrition, transportation, and most importantly an upcoming tour to Mosselbaai in July, he is at a disadvantage compared to other players his age who take these costs and opportunities for granted.
