Run for Hope

Just a few months ago, Tarisai took on the Comrades Marathon with a simple goal: to raise R50,000 for Hope Nation to strengthen its work in restoring dignity, equality and opportunity through education and healthcare. (See more at hopenation.org.za)

What became so clear along the journey was that no one runs alone.

Behind every kilometre was someone who donated. Someone who sent an encouraging message. Someone who prayed. Someone who believed in the cause. Every act of support helped carry Tarisai to the finish line while making a real difference in the lives of the communities Hope Nation serves.

While we didn't quite reach our original fundraising goal, the story didn't end there.

Through Run for Hope, that same spirit carried on as 300 runners came together to run for something bigger than themselves. Keith, Sfundo, Nobuhle, Nesta, Timon, Gareth, Amneesha, Racheal, Danielle and so many others took on their own running challenges, with people rallying behind them, donating, encouraging and helping carry hope further.
