Run For Nature – 150km | Toti to Port Edward
On 22 August 2026, I, Simphiwe "Mshishi" Mngwengwe – 6x Comrades Marathon finisher and Zwakala AC athlete – will run 150km from Toti to Port Edward to inspire people to protect the environment we all share.
This run shines a light on the growing threats facing our natural heritage, including marine poaching, pollution, littering, invasive alien plants, and the destruction of our rivers, beaches, and ecosystems.
I'm asking you to turn every kilometre into lasting change.
All donations will go to Nombuso High School, where we are building a greener future for our learners by:
- Installing recycling and litter bins.
- Removing invasive alien plants.
- Planting indigenous trees and gardens.
- Creating a clean, environmentally friendly school.
- Teaching learners to become future champions of conservation.
