Run4Soulz

Hey everyone! My name is Brandon. I am turning 27 years old in May and I thought what better way to celebrate my birthday than to run for 27 hours around a track, in order to raise funds for Hope 4 Kids Community Organization. The purpose of this event will be to provide children within the Northern areas, Zwide and KwaZakhele communities with running shoes.

Every child deserves the opportunity to dream big, play freely, and explore the world around them, but for many children in underprivileged communities, something as simple as a pair of running shoes is out of reach. Without the right footwear, they miss out on the joys of running, sports, and even just having the confidence to be active.

I witnessed this first hand last year whilst participating in a 10km road race in Colchester. The amount of children I saw running barefoot was honestly a humbling experience for me as some sections of the race were even gravel.
