RUNNING 100 MILES (UTCT) TO RAISE FUNDS FOR PROJECT NOORDHOEKED
Project Noordhoeked is an NPO based in Noordhoek, Western Cape. We employ a team of 4 men who work 3 days a week. We keep Noordhoek beach/wetland and lagoon free of ocean plastic. We also tackle invasive plants in the wetland, keep it free of snares, and collect rubbish from the roadsides and river edges. We maintain trails in the wetland and on the mountain, and often build trail infrastructure. We have built many ecobrick benches in and around Noordhoek, and maintain the gardens around these benches. We are continuously raising funds (by recruiting new donors from the community), hosting an annual fundraiser, but always need to keep fundraising in order to keep doing what we do….
We are keen to raise enough money to be able to assist William (see the movie in the project link!) get home to see his son (after a 7-year absence!)….help us help HIM get home and return safely to continue the good work in our beautiful valley….
