Running for Education Africa - Cape Town Marathon

This October, runners from all over South Africa – and the world – will hit the streets of Cape Town for the legendary Cape Town Marathon. And this time, every stride is a step towards something bigger: quality education and real opportunities for those who need them most.

For over 30 years, Education Africa has been on its own kind of marathon – one that’s not measured in kilometres, but in impact. Our work focuses on Poverty Alleviation through Education – from early childhood development and teacher mentorship to youth empowerment and inclusive music education. This year, people who care deeply about our mission will be running, walking, cheering, and raising funds to help us keep going strong. Every kilometre covered will help fuel the high-impact, hands-on programmes that are changing lives every single day.
