Running the World’s Highest Marathon to Raise Up the Next Generation

A campaign by Revd Jeremy Jobling, minister-in-charge of St John's Church Wynberg

Imagine standing on the side of the world’s highest mountain, your lungs burning, your legs freezing, and every step feeling like it might be your last.
Now imagine doing all of that for one reason:

To help young people in Wynberg, Cape Town, discover hope, purpose, and the love of Jesus.

That’s why I’m taking on the Mount Everest Marathon, the toughest, highest marathon on earth.
But this challenge isn’t about me. It’s about building something life-changing for young people in our community.

What We’re Raising Funds For

Our church, St John's Wynberg, is working to establish two new positions working with children and teenagers, dedicated to:

  • Walking with young children and teens through real struggles
  • Building a safe, fun, Jesus-centered...
