Across rural communities in Limpopo and the Greater Kruger region, there are extraordinary makers whose skills have often been passed down through generations — women weaving with natural fibres, bead artists creating intricate traditional work, leather artisans learning new techniques, potters shaping functional and decorative pieces by hand, and small producers building livelihoods through craft.

At Kulani Collective, we work to support these artisans and micro-enterprises to move beyond survival and towards long-term, dignified, sustainable income generation

Kulani Collective is a registered South African non-profit organisation (NPC) that works alongside rural crafters, artists, and small enterprise owners to strengthen their skills, improve product quality, develop new ranges, build traceability and storytelling systems, and connect them to real market opportunities. Our work sits at the intersection of craft, conservation, tourism, entrepreneurship, and community development.
