The South African Air Cadet Corps (SAACC) is a national non-profit youth development programme that uses aviation as a powerful tool to shape, inspire and uplift young South Africans. We work with boys and girls aged 12–18 from diverse backgrounds, offering hands-on training in aviation, leadership, discipline, and teamwork — all guided by our motto: We teach adventure!
Through weekly squadron meetings, aviation-focused camps, and structured training, cadets are introduced to the world of aviation while developing confidence, resilience and life skills. For many, this is the first step on a path to becoming pilots, engineers, or leaders in the South African Air Force, civil aviation, or their local communities.
What Makes Us Different?
We are 100% volunteer-driven
We charge no tuition for training — just a small monthly fee (R250) to help cover basic costs
We reach underserved communities, rural youth, and first-time flyers and many more.
We build character, not just skills
