SA Harvest Virtual Food Pantry

This Giving Tuesday, we're inviting you to help us fill our Virtual Pantry with enough ingredients to deliver 300,000 meals to vulnerable individuals and families over the festive season.

From 3rd to 13th December, every donation you make will directly support our mission to feed 300,000 people this Christmas. 

Here's the magic: Because SA Harvest operates on a food rescue model, our cost per meal is just 90c. This means every rand you donate provides more than one meal, multiplying the impact of your generosity!

Your donation goes towards fuelling our trucks and rescue operations which means we can provide nutritious, balanced meals to those who need it most through our network of over 200 vetted beneficiary organisations around the country.

Plus, you're fighting climate change. When food goes to landfill, it produces methane – a greenhouse gas even more potent than carbon dioxide. Did you know that reducing food waste could cut 6-8% of human-caused emissions?
