Hi, friends and supporters!
My name is Carlon Mentoor, and I am thrilled to announce my selection to represent our country in the International U/21 Men’s Hockey Junior African Cup. This incredible opportunity will allow me to compete at a high level and gain invaluable experience on the international stage. To turn this dream into reality, I need your support to help cover travel, accommodation, and gear expenses.
My hockey journey has been shaped by my time at Paarl Gimnasium and Paarl Hockey Club, where I’ve honed my skills and developed a deep love for the game. I am currently playing Club Hockey in Europe and are planning to return to help Paarl Hockey Club make their mark in the Grand Challenge League.
The Junior African Cup (where South Africa are the defending champions), will be held in Namibia . from 18-25 April 2025 (postponed from 30 November – 8 December last year).
