About This Campaign
Ten of our disadvantaged students from the Wentworth community have been selected to represent South Africa at the UDO International World Championship Dance Competition. To make this dream a reality we must raise a total of R 150 000.
This amount will cover flights, accommodation, visas, food, travel insurance and transfers within the City.
As a non-profit organisation we encourage and appeal to companies to please come on board with this venture as your support are assisting disadvantaged youth from communities that are subjected to social ills, like gangsterism, drugs abuse and HIV/AIDS , and teen pregnancies and our project activities offer an alternative to that lifestyle and impacting the youth positively.
For the Wentworth Arts & Culture Organisation (WACO), participating in UDO's Street Dance competition is a significant opportunity to showcase South African talent on an international stage.
