South Africans for Constitutional Reform (SACR) is raising funds to pursue legal action aimed at ensuring transparency, accountability, and meaningful public participation in Parliament’s constitutional review process. After submitting detailed constitutional reform proposals supported by more than 30,000 South Africans, Parliament failed to acknowledge receipt or communicate any process updates. We believe South Africans deserve better. This campaign will help fund legal consultations, litigation costs, advocacy, and public accountability efforts to ensure that citizens are taken seriously in matters affecting the Constitution of the Republic.

Why We Are Taking Action

In May 2025, Parliament invited South Africans to submit proposals for constitutional amendments as part of the Constitutional Review process.
