What are Safepads?

Safepads are reusable menstrual pads that last one girl five years. Safepads are manufactured locally and they are a Proudly South African product.

Why "Chommie"?

In South Africa, the word "chommie" is more than just slang—it’s a term that embodies friendship, trust, and having each other’s backs. It’s a word that resonates with the spirit of community, where we stand by one another in times of need. The #ChommieCampaign is inspired by this uniquely South African bond. We’re calling on individuals and businesses to become chommies to 5000 girls across the country by donating Safepads. Just as a chommie supports you through thick and thin, we aim to support these girls through a critical time in their lives, ensuring they can continue their education without interruption.
