About This Campaign

This campaign for Saint Bernard Rescue in South Africa is in Memory of my beautiful sister Heather Meyers and her Saint Bernard Arthur of Locksbottom. Heather passed away in the UK in October 2012, she had a Saint Bernard Arthur who passed away from cancer a few months before her.
They were such characters in their community that their local Newspaper the Newshopper did an article on the passing of Arthur.
Arthur's Story
Born on February 17, 2004, he moved into the Meyers family home in March of the same year.
Failed puppy training - Arthur was asked to sit on the floor like the other dogs in his class but chose to sit on a bench instead.
Crashed a car - While waiting in the car for his owner to come back from the shops in Locksbottom, a man came up to the vehicle to say hello.
In his excitement Arthur jumped on the handbrake so the car rolled backwards into another vehicle while he was sitting in the driver’s seat.
