Hi everyone,
I’m Kate and I am raising funds for my dear friend, Sally. She is a wonderful mum of three and is fighting cancer – for the 4th year in a row.
Her original breast cancer has metastasised and she is now living with a stage 4 diagnosis.
Breast cancer can be treated – but you need medical intervention. Sally does not have medical aid and has relied on the state medical system in the past – a system that moves very slowly.
She has now moved to a private oncologist and needs a PET scan to see if her latest chemo is working. She will have to pay cash for this and any other private care that is required.
We are shooting for R30 000, which is the cost of the scan, but any additional donations in excess of this target will go to fund further treatment.
