Samaritaan Huis Animal Feeding and Rescue

As people started bringing injured and sick animals to Samaritaan Huis for care, we realised the trust the community had placed in us. They saw that the love and safe space we provide for people could extend to our furry friends as well.

Currently, we house 2 pigeons, 1 cat, and 14 dogs. Additionally, we've found homes for 7 dogs with Mariske and 2 kittens with Duane. Every day, we leave out a food and water for the neighbourhood dogs that roam, ensuring they have a little comfort too.

"It broke my heart to see how the animals were being treated. If we don't stand up for them, who will?"

We partner with the Boksburg SPCA to help rescue and care for animals from abuse and neglect with the hopes of rehabilitating them in preparation for a happier and healthier life.
