Sanctuary Stretch for Olaf our Fallow Deer

At Kindred Earth, we believe that every rescued animal deserves not just safety, but the space to heal, roam, and thrive. Olaf, a gentle fallow deer, arrived at our sanctuary when he was only a few days old — fragile, orphaned, and in need of round-the-clock care.

He was bottle-fed for months, slowly gaining strength, trust, and confidence. Today, Olaf is thriving — but his journey isn’t over.

We’re launching the Sanctuary Stretch campaign to raise R25,000 to expand his enclosure by one full acre. This vital upgrade will allow us to:

• Fence the new area securely with a 2.4-meter-high perimeter, ensuring Olaf’s safety by preventing escape and protecting him from potential predator threats.
• Design the enclosure to weave through our pine forest, offering natural shade, shelter, and a more enriching, peaceful environment.
