As some of you will know, my step daughter, Page has been on one helluva - one that has tested her strength and resilience. This past month she was in hospital for 21 days with Transverse Myelitis, a rare condition caused by an infection and inflammation of the spine. Although she is back home and starting the recovery process, it has been challenging to say the least.
We are so grateful they have caught it early - Myelitis can cause paralysis and other major complications... Still, she is experiencing many symptoms as a result of this ordeal, including headaches, dizziness, nausea and nerve damage which the doctors estimate could take anywhere between 6 - 24 months to hea...
