Sanlam Cape Town Marathon Plant Protector

Mmei Majuda, our faithful and inspiring Plant Protector, will be running the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon to raise funds for the BOT SOC SA – Kirstenbosch Branch.

Funds raised through this campaign will make it possible for learners from the Ingcungcu Eco Club to experience educational field trips to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. Many of these learners come from under‑resourced communities on the Cape Flats and would otherwise not have the opportunity to explore this unique natural space. 

Your support will help cover transport, lunch, and educational resources, ensuring that these young eco‑champions can enjoy a meaningful learning journey that deepens their connection to nature and plant conservation.
