FROM LUSAKA TO SEOUL
On the 6th of march, 2026. Sarah Chama, a new student at Chengelo School took a leap out of her comfort zone and competed in the World Scholars Cup regional round in Lusaka, Zambia. With only a week to prepare she managed to qualify for the global round in Seoul, South Korea. winning 1st place team writing, place 24th overall and win the most medals in Chengelo (11!) however she cannot do it alone. We are asking for YOUR help to turn this opportunity into a reality. In total we need $5000 ( R85,612) to make this journey possible, and every contribution is highly appreciated and brings her one step closer.

My name is Sarah Chama, I'm 13 year old Zambian living in South Africa and I have an undying passion for knowledge, opportunity and experience. I love to Debate, Write, Read, and I play both the Piano and Violin at a Grade 5&6 level. My late Grandfather Prof. Kasuka Mwauluka had always said to reach for the stars.
