Get Savannah Woodward back doing what she loves, RACING SUPERBIKES!
Savannahs dreams of becoming a professional superbike racer was put on hold on the 1st of December 2018, where she sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury representing South Africa in the Women's World Cup in Mexico.
Savannahs' injury caused major damage where she was temporarily paralyzed on the right hand side of her body. She was in ICU and High-care, doctors were uncertain of what the extent of her recovery would be. She improved and after 3 weeks in hospital, she was allowed to fly home accompanied by a doctor.
After landing back home, she continued her costly recovery treatment. She was determined despite what doctors believed, that she would race again. After continuous Physio Therapy and Occupational Therapy Savannah received her Fit to Compete letter from her Neurologist January 2020.
