Save Guild Cottage

Guild Cottage has been a sanctuary for 100 years that offers sexually abused young girls a second chance at life. We are the only organisation who provide this type of care in Johannesburg. 

Guild Cottage provides these girls expert psychological and educational support so they can heal and rebuild their futures. Most of the girls are placed in our care until they can reunite with their families. We aim to help these vulnerable girls become well-rounded, happy, productive members of society.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, funding for critical social care like ours has become increasingly difficult to secure. Many donors and organisations have had to shift priorities, leaving Guild Cottage in a precarious financial position.
