The Dlinza Forest Aerial Boardwalk, Eshowe’s prime tourist attraction and community recreational asset, is in urgent need of interim funding to carry it through until major donors can be secured. 

 

WHAT IS THE DLINZA FOREST? AND THE AERIAL BOARDWALK?

The Dlinza Forest (an Ezemvelo nature reserve) is a scarp forest in the town of Eshowe. It supports a great diversity of plants and animals, including many rare and endemic species. 'The Boardwalk,’ situated in the Dlinza Forest, is a 125m-long walkway running from ground level into the canopy. It culminates in a 20m-high tower, which emerges through the trees and offers spectacular views across the forest to the rolling hills beyond.


WHY DOES IT MATTER SO MUCH?
