Feeding Futures began in 2023 with a simple but powerful mission: to give the next generation a chance. Over the past two years, our project has grown tremendously, making a meaningful impact on the lives of children.
Each month, Feeding Futures organizes a food delivery to Ikhaya Lekhamva, an orphanage in Langa, ensuring that the children have access to nutritious meals. This initiative would not be possible without our incredible partner, Food Lover’s Market, which generously donates the food we deliver.
On March 14, 2025, our efforts were recognized when Feeding Futures received the Bishops Diocesan Ackerman Award—an honor given to projects that are innovative in nature and create a significant impact.
This initiative is led by Sebastian Robbertse, a Grade 11 student at Bishops, who is committed to expanding and strengthening the project in the years to come.
