I finally had my staples removed on the 5th of May 2023. The wound Nurse is happy and satisfied with my wounds although I wanted to cry when I saw them at first. It's quite alot to take in....
I missed my Dr's appointment yesterday 6 June 2023, at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital for my follow up appointment where new x-rays were supposed to be done to see the progress of my ankle after the fibula plate and screws were inserted on the 19th of May 2023
I am still struggling to get my Back a Buddy account shared to raise funds to help me get to my appointments. This is a very long process and a lot of traveling from Alberton to Johannesburg is required.
Unfortunately I don't have transport and we also tried the public transport at the hospital yesterday...
