What is this fundraising campaign for?
We are raising funds to support renowned South African financial journalist Siki Mgabadeli, who suffered a debilitating stroke in 2020. Siki has been a trusted voice in media, dedicated to empowering the public with financial knowledge and insight. Today, she needs our support as she continues her long and challenging journey to recovery.
How will the funds be used?
The funds raised will go directly towards covering the high costs of ongoing physiotherapy, speech therapy, and dental work that are critical to improving Siki’s quality of life. These therapies are not luxuries — they are essential to her healing and regaining independence. Specifically, the funds will assist with:
Regular physiotherapy sessions to help restore mobility and strength
Intensive speech therapy to aid in communication and cognitive rehabilitation
