Simoné, David en Kai

Hi, my name is Simoné, and together with my husband, David, we’re raising our little boy, Kai.

Asking for help has never come naturally to me. If there were any other way, I wouldn’t be writing this today. But we’ve reached a point where we simply can’t do it on our own anymore.

For months, my husband has continued going to work every single day, seven days a week, despite not receiving a salary. The company he works for is currently in financial distress and is in the process of being sold. While he remains committed to his responsibilities and continues showing up faithfully, there has been no income coming from his job.

In the meantime, we’ve been trying to survive on the little income I earn through creating content on social media. I’m incredibly grateful for every opportunity that comes my way, but it is unpredictable and only stretches far enough to cover our son’s basic needs, such as diapers, milk, and groceries for a short time.

The reality is that we have fallen behind on rent, and we currently have no way of paying our outstanding rent for July...
