Simoné has been selected to represent South Africa at The Aerial International Championships 2024 Bari, Italy. Three years ago Simoné developed a great passion and talent for Aerial Silks. This entails using fabric secured from a rig and involves defying gravity and using your strength to climb and manoeuvre the silks.
Simoné competed in various competitions, such as Arnold's Classics 2022; Acro Fusion 2022 & 2023; South African Campionships of Performing Arts 2022 & 2023. At SACOPA 2022, she won a Gold Medal and an Overall Trophy Award. In 2023 she won a Silver Medal and once again an Overall Trophy Award. Only a few South African Aerialists qualified for this huge event. She also made the South African Team to represent SA at international competitions.
