Siobhan’s Drumming Dream: Help Me Hit the Worlds!

Hi, I’m Siobhan Naudé, a proud South African tenor drummer with the Transvaal Scottish Pipe Band (The Jocks).

This August, I’ve been given the opportunity of a lifetime to play at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow, Scotland, representing Manawatū Scottish (a top Grade 1 band from New Zealand).

This is something I’ve dreamed of since I was a wee girl. I’ve spent years preparing for a moment like this and now it’s happening.

Why Me?

I’ve dedicated my life to this instrument, and I’m proud to say:

    •    🥁 First & only South African with a Level 6 PDQB Mid-Section Drumming Qualification the highest international standard
    •    👣 Daughter of Chad “Moose” Naudé the bass drummer of Transvaal Scottish for 36 years
