Skin Cancer Patient Needs Prosthetic Nose

Update:

(8/4/26) My Mom went to the surgeon today and tried on a dummy prosthetic nose to see how it would look and feel. She is getting very excited. Another 3 more visits to go and then she should have her new nose.

(26/3/26) My Mom is going back to the surgeon on the 08/4/26 for another procedure.

(17/2/26) Mom has been seeing the surgeon on and off for the last 2 years. My Mom is seeing the surgeon again this Saturday (21/2/26) and the surgeon says she got another 5 more visits and then she will be getting a prosthetic nose. We still a little short financially for the nose prosthethis and would appreciate any small amount one can donate as this is my Mom dream to have a nose again. We have been paying periodically as the surgeon continues to do work on my Mom.

Dawn Cassisa, 75 was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2021.  

She has also undergone radiation and chemotherapy. The surgeon at Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town conducted the operation.
