Snare Aware is a small volunteer non-profit organisation (NPO 251-33) focusing on the issue of illegal wildlife snares. We dedicate our free time to travelling the length and breadth of our province, removing snares from greenbelts, conservation areas and Game Reserves. We also provide specialist snare identification and removal training to Anti-Poaching Units at various Reserves.
We offer our services and expertise free of charge to anyone who needs assistance. Since establishing in 2020, we have removed over 1000 snares from the bush in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. With the increased costs of living we are looking to cover some of our costs (like petrol), so that we can continue making an impact and saving our wildlife.
Please consider covering the platform fee, so more of your donations goes to our project.
