Fundraising for boat repairs

I am Jacob Phela, the head coach for Rowing Development in Soweto. As we take a break from our rigorous training sessions, we have a crucial opportunity to repair our fleet of boats. We're reaching out to you, our community and beyond, to seek your support through donations that will enable us to give our boats the attention they desperately need.

Currently, we are actively recruiting youth from various townships in Soweto, aiming to teach them the art of rowing and guide them to achieve the highest levels of proficiency. However, we find ourselves confronted with the challenge of maintaining our aging fleet, a task that requires a substantial amount of funding.

Looking ahead to the 2024 season, our goal is to equip our athletes with high-quality, competitive boats.
