CAEP builds an enrichment garden for the SPCA!

These animals may not have freedom, but with your help, we can give them freedom of choice!

Every day at the Cape of Good Hope SPCA in Cape Town, South Africa, hundreds of rescued dogs sit in concrete kennels, waiting and hoping for their forever homes. When they finally get a chance to go outside, they step into one of four sandy yards where they are often only pacing or lying down. There’s nothing really to explore, and nothing to spark their curiosity.

For these dogs, enrichment isn’t a luxury -  it’s crucial for their happiness and wellbeing.

Our heroes, the SPCA, provide daily food, shelter, and medical care to hundreds of animals in need each day and dream of creating a better environment for the dogs in their care, but, as you can imagine, their resources are stretched thin.
