The 2026 school year is here!
For the 170 children at Abraham Kriel Children’s Home, Nylstroom, it means early mornings again, school bells, homework and big dreams.
But for most of them it also brings uncertainty:
“Do my shoes still fit?”
“Is this shirt not a bit tight?”
“Will the others like me?”
“Do I have everything I need?”
Our children do not want to be different… They just want to fit in and belong. They want to be part of the group and, like every other child, go to school with pride and confidence.
Our goal is that every Abraham Kriel child starts the new school year spick and span – neat, equipped and full of courage.
To make this possible, we need:
• School clothes
• School shoes
• Stationery
• School bags
• Lunch boxes
• Water bottles
