St Laurences's Children's Haven

St Laurence’s Children’s Haven is in desperate need of a new 14/16 seater minivan. We transport our children to 7 different schools and 2 early learning centres daily and the safety of the children is paramount.

The Child Protection Act prohibits us from showing the children's faces.

We currently have 28 kiddies living with us and have cared for more than 2600 over the years, some are with us for a day, week or month, and others have lived with us for 19 years.

At our home the children experience love and care in a secure warm environment, have three cooked meals and a bath/shower daily, for many this is a first in their young lives. Under these conditions, very soon the pain and trauma they have suffered passes and they adapt to becoming young, healthy, caring successful individuals.

We encourage our children to take part in Wrestling, 3 girls have represented South Africa Internationally, Jessica is a 9 times SA Junior Champ and Juliette a 3 times SA Junior Champ. Many have won gold and silver medals an...
