Stand by Theo & Geraldine

If you live in the Maroelasfontein area of the bushveld in Limpopo you will know the names of Theo and Geraldine van Wyk. 

They have been a valued member of this small farming community over the years and have always been there to lend a helping hand. Unfortunately Theo was diagnosed with brain cancer last year and this has really had a big impact on him. He initially went for surgery and then for radiation and has tried to continue with working through this traumatic experience to provide for his family and workers on his farm. It has really been a struggle and recently he was informed that his services would not be required at the mine where he was consulting. 

Unfortunately the insurance policy that they had for dreaded disease and income protection failed to pay out due to a technicality and this has added additional stress on them.
