STAND WITH NTOKOZO IN HER FIGHT AGAINST CANCER

In June 2025, Ntokozo Joy Mathibela was diagnosed with cervical cancer and has started radiation to treat the cancer. Since then, she has been under careful medical surveillance.

In 2026, she attended a routine follow-up scan. On 26 February 2026, we received the news that the cancer has progressed to Stage 4 cervical disease. The spread is extensive, leaving us with little time to act.

Her gynecologic oncologist has recommended urgent debulking surgery.  This is a procedure to decrease the amount of cancer in the body as much as possible when total removal is unsafe or impossible, often enhancing the effectiveness of follow-up chemotherapy or radiation although it is costly and requires us to act swiftly.
