In the early hours of 10 January, 2025, our world turned upside down when my beloved sister Stacey was involved in a devastating collision with a truck—an accident that has forever altered her life. She suffered severe injuries, including broken arms, fractured hips, cranial hemorrhaging, and a deep facial laceration. Her recovery journey will be long and challenging.

Stacey is the devoted mother of a beautiful three-month-old baby girl, Milané Rose. Her full recovery is vital not just for her but for her young family. However, like many South Africans, Stacey does not have a medical aid. She has been fortunate to receive treatment from the dedicated staff of a private hospital, but the costs are overwhelming.
