Stem cells, New hope for Nhleleko

Our 6-year-old son, Nhleleko, sees the world in brilliant, vibrant colours that most of us can only imagine. Since his autism diagnosis, our journey was filled with both incredible joy and unique challenges. He amazes us everyday with his sharp memory, inquisitiveness and smartness. In so many ways he teaches us about resilience, determination and the true meaning of unconditional love. 

Alongside his strengths, he also faces daily challenges with communication, social interactions and not meeting milestones of his peers. As his family we’ve done everything we can, countless therapies, interventions and treatments to support him. We celebrate each victory, but we also know there is more we can do to help him reach his potential.
