Hi everyone, on Sunday 17 August, Steven had quite a serious fall off his mountain bike during a stage race. He fell really hard and cracked and shattered multiple ribs and also punctured his left lung. Unfortunately it looks like he will need an operation to put a steel plate in his ribs as they have shifted and are not aligned properly.
We do not have medical aid at the moment due to financial difficulties and have tried absorbing as much of the costs so far but humbly ask for any donations for his possible operation and hospital stay in the high care ward in PMB mediclinic.
