As many of you know, our friend Derek from Metal Machine Tattoo suffered a serious ladder accident and broke his leg. As a self-employed tattooer and studio owner, being unable to work has placed him and his family under enormous financial pressure.
The medical expenses are wracking up and his recovery will be slow with unknown rehabilitation costs to come.
For Mandela Day we’d love to bring the tattoo community together to raise funds for Dereks recovery and day to day expenses while he rests up and heals after multiple surgeries and a long hospital stay.
