We are reaching out to you today on behalf of Chidi Obijiaku, a brilliant Nigerian composer, conductor, and pianist whose music has touched the lives of many. His music can be found here and here.
Chidi is currently fighting a tough battle with tuberculosis (TB), a diagnosis he received upon being admitted to the Garden City Netcare Hospital’s ICU on October 27, 2024.
Chidi’s journey to this point has been harrowing. He fell ill in September but was initially misdiagnosed with anemia. His condition deteriorated rapidly, culminating in a life-threatening situation that brought him to emergency care. When doctors finally identified TB, his lungs were already in a critical state.
